Fidalgo Islanders for Dogs Off-leash has been formed to create a positive community spirit by developing an off-leash dog park for the citizens of Anacortes and Fidalgo Island which will provide open space, fresh air, exercise and socialization for dogs and a social gathering place for their guardians. 360-293-9658

The Off-Leash Park consists of about two acres of fenced open space where people can play with their off-leash dogs. The park has a double-gated entrance and will accommodate people with disabilities. Rules of use will be posted at the entrance. Pooper-scooper bags and covered garbage cans with regular trash removal are provided by the Anacortes Parks Department. The park will otherwise be maintained and improved by park users.
DIRECTIONS: Upon entering Anacortes on Commercial St., turn left at the 1st light, 32nd St. Continue to a four-way stop at H Avenue and turn left. The park is off of H Avenue, right across from the sign for the Cedar Springs development, at about 38th St.

Located in the southern-most tip of the Edmonds Marina, past the dry boat storage. This OLA has water access on a small rocky beach, but at low tide it becomes a huge playfield - this one can't be beat!
A small area with beach access is located in Luther Burbank Park. The off-leash area is not completely fenced, so be careful!
Located off Route 520 in Marymoor Park, this 40-acre off-leash area is doggie Nirvana! Go to the SODA site for more info.
Snohomish County Parks is responding to the growing need for K9 off-leash exercise areas. Willis Tucker Park offers a 2 acre interim off-leash area with nearby parking and a newly opened 4.5 acre meadow area that can be accessed from the main parking lot. Fencing for a wooded and shy dog area are currently underway, with a projected completion off January 2009.
There are three dog parks in Kitsap County, two that have opened and one that is being organized, in the Silverdale - Port Orchard area.
